Please describe the interview / hiring process.
The Morgan Stanley interview process for Hong Kong Summer Analyst consisted of two first round interviews + one more interview over the phone or through video with a higher ranked banker.
I did not manage to pass the interview with the VP but I did pass the first one with an associate and with an analyst.
The questions the associate and analyst were clearly questions the HR gave them, as they asked they repeated questions. The interviews were more like conversations, very chill.
The interview with the VP was horrific, she grilled me on technical right from the start, no competency questions at all. Lesson learned is know your technicals well as Morgan Stanley is known to be technical.
