What did the interview consist of?

Please describe the interview / hiring process.
I had recruiting event in my University. Got some important contact that helped me when tailoring my cover letter.
Applied online and took the online tests. Did ok with the numerical one, whereas I aced the verbal one, because it was exactly as one mock test I had found somewhere in the internet.
Two weeks later I was invited for a phone interview with an Associate. The interview was rather ok. General questions: why MS, why Equity Research, etc.
Didn't get back from them in the promised time, 2 weeks, and try to reach the Associate or the HR. Never got a hold of them and received an answer after 2 months by an standard no-reply email, saying that they wouldn't go on with the process.
On way I was disappointed not to go through, but on the other I was relieved no to go work with them, because the Associate wasn't friendly at all (started the phone call with a "it's Friday afternoon and unfortunately I am here listening to what you have to say") and the HR doesn't even bother giving a proper reply with feedback, rather than a "thanks, but no thanks".
