Investment Banking Analyst

The process started with an on-campus, in-person interview. The interview was a straightforward 30 minute discussion, with a mix of behavioral and basic technical questions (4 valuation methods, walk through a DCF, etc). Following that, candidates were invited to final rounds. Before final rounds LMM has a couple analysts take candidates (individually) out to lunch to get to know them and the firm a little better.

The final rounds consist of ~6 half hour interviews and are fairly intense, the topics vary by interviewer but one should expect a decent amount of technicals. In addition, there is a timed writing component where candidates are given a computer and asked to write a one page response to a finance related question in 30 minutes.
