After completing the online application, I was notified that I was going to be interviewed via phone about a month later. In late February, I received an e-mail from my prospective interviewer asking me when I could best find an hour in my schedule for a phone interview.
The phone interview was very relaxed. I was interviewed over the phone by a Senior Analyst with JPM Asset Management from the NYC office. It mostly consisted of both of us trying to find out if it was a good fit. She asked mostly personal questions and ask me to give a few scenarios where I had previously displayed qualities that the comapny would find valuable.

I didn't hear back from the firm for several months. Finally, I received an e-mail from one of the HR employees at the NYC basically explaining that they thought I was a good fit for the company but that they could not hire me because my prospective graduation date was still too far away. They apologized for the inconvenience and encouraged me to apply again next year. Their resononing seemed legitimate and the tone of the e-mail seemd very sincere. I also appreciated that they did not make me go through the several other interview stages before letting me know that they would not be able to hire until I was at least a Junior.
