Asset Management

Applied online for Asset Management and got a phone interview specifically for the Global Real Assets division. Round one interview was really quick and basic such as why JPM etc.
Got invited to the Superday 10 days after the interview and was informed that there are 5 spots open. There were 6 people in the morning and they mentioned that they had another group coming in on that afternoon so there's at least 12 people for those spots. Everyone went to different schools and travel was covered. You interview with each division and it's 1 to 3 interviewers per room. The questions were all fit such as tell me why JPM and tell me about yourself, what do you do on your free time etc. Although these questions were really easy, it was clear for some groups that they already decided on their choices. Since most of the questions were lay ups it's difficult to gauge why the other candidates were picked over me. All the interviewers were really nice and laughed at my jokes so it certainly was not an intense experience. 3 business days later I received a rejection email. These fit interviews are pretty much luck based, I tried getting feedback but got something generic like against HR policy etc. It's difficult to say which of the dozen or so people I spoke to did not like my personality.
