Energy Investment Banking Summer Analyst

I submitted my resume through my on-campus recruiting system. I heard back by phone one night about a month later from the analyst who would interview me, and we scheduled for the following morning. The phone interview went well, and I thought I would get an invitation to interview on-site. I got an email about a week later, however, that the firm could not reconcile that I was interviewing for an SA position but had already graduated.
