Please describe the interview / hiring process.
I applied through school's OCR and scheduled for an on-campus first round interview via the OCR web facility. First rounds were 30-40 mins, 2 on 1, one associate and one 2nd year analyst. Very few behavioral questions, mostly technical questions on distressed M&A, debt covenants, distressed EV, accounting, PIK, etc. I was invited that same night for a superday that would take place in the office in two days. The superday consisted of 1 on 1 interviews. There were four of us in my batch, but they sent three of them home after five 30-minute 1 on 1 rounds. I stayed for three more interviews of the same format before they let me go. Total of 9 interviews (including first round). Again mostly technical questions of the same flavor as the first round, plus some "conceptual" technical questions, math, restructuring-specific valuation, debt, LBOs (if I remember correctly), accounting, current events etc. Some resume/experience/background behavioral questions as well. Interviewed with 1 2nd year analyst, 4 associates, a VP/SVP, one SVP, and the MD (basically more of a behavioral/fit) at the end.
