Restructuring Financial Analyst

Interviewed first round through OCR, pretty relaxed interview with basic technical questions like basic ratios looked at in restructuring, what do you know about it, and a basic accounting tech, like "What happens when a company invests [xx] into PPE and how does it flow through the 3 statements?" Turnaround time was about three days before I was invited to the super day. The day was pretty cramped for me since I had squeezed in a super day with FAS as well, but they provided lunch and you do end up talking to analysts up to MDs. Very structured and organized, some were fit, some were very heavily accounting based. After lunch there was a written test, which was essentially a modeling exam on paper, you can/should use a calculator. They'll give you a blank income statement/balance sheet/cash flow statement and a set of assumptions that you work off of to fill out the statements a certain number of years. Additionally there's also a basic corp fin section that asks you to calculate WACC, Cost of Equity, etc. etc. Overall it was a pleasant experience although definitely one of the more intense super days I've gone to.
