M&A Technology Advisory Analyst

I applied through the resume drop at the career services of my university. On the deadline, I received a notification that I was selected to a first-round interview through the online career website, and an on-campus interview was organized. I selected the days and time that I was available through a drop-down menu online. I also received an email from the recruiter, congratulating me for my interview and offering some details on the process. The interview itself was, in retrospect, a trap interview in that everything was extremely chilled and laid back (we got into a discussion about favorite beers, sports teams, and college experiences), they were extremely friendly, and this caused me to lower my guard a little bit and offer sub-optimal or slightly informal answers. Overall, however, the people were laid back and awesome, they definitely adopt a play hard / word hard attitude, and I would love to work for them one day.
