Investment Banking Analyst

The whole entire process took a little over a week; this was the fastest firm I had ever interviewed with. I was initially contact via email to interview specifically for their restructuring practice we set up the interview within that week.

My first round phone interview was with 2 Analysts. After very brief self-introductions, they jumped straight into the technical questions. Most of the questions were rather difficult and at one point one of the Analysts told me they didn't expect me to know the answers, they were more interested in my thought process.

Upon finishing the phone interview, I was emailed within 2 hours to set up my Superday.

The Superday lasted 6 hours with an hour long break for lunch with one of the Analysts. Each interview lasted 30 minutes. Most of the interviews with senior people were all fit while the junior guys asked technicals and brainteasers. It should also be noted that most of the technical questions were in the form of restructuring case studies; very few standard questions.
