Investment Banking Analyst

The interview process was very well organized. Since I was interviewing for a lateral analyst position, a majority of my communications were with a VP in the respective group in charge of hiring and HR. From the point of getting referred to the open position from a friend that worked at the firm, I was contacted within a week. I had two phone interviews. The first with an analyst who talked about the group and asked some fit questions and a second with an associate who asked fit, motive and very light tech questions. I was then brought in for a final round which consisted of talking to 6 people in the group. The whole interview process took around 3 weeks and would have been shorter if not for scheduling conflicts. All the people were smart and seemed to generally care about employees and career development.
