I got the interview through my campus career center, the interview was held on campus as well. He started by selling me on Houlihan Lokey, especially the success of their restructuring and valuation departments. After the typical "tell me about yourself" and "walk me through your resume questions" it was almost all technical. He also asked what I knew about Houlihan, and why I was interested in them. After an extensive walkthrough of a DCF model as well as several questions on M&A valuation he asked what question I had about the company. He defined the culture as "collegial," and that in addition to the formal mentor program there is a very strong informal one in which senior employees are very willing to help and mentor younger employees.
