What did the interview consist of?
1 on 1 Interview
Please describe the interview / hiring process.
First of all, two interviewers were very nice. Then they went over the resume, focused on several field in my resume they are familiar with.
The questions started out pretty basic (like "what sort of statements would you need if you were asked to value a private company?") and then got pretty specific as i continued to answer. Questions included how would you solve for NOPLAT, how are the financial statements related, what valuation methods would you use? why? explain CAPM. What is the WACC? What values go into calculating WACC and how do you find them? Pretty technical but not too bad if you're prepared.
