Please describe the interview / hiring process.
Originally applied during OCR in January. Had my first round interview on campus. To prepare, I basically did the typical S&T preparation such as following recent trends in the market, preparing stock pitches, et. The interview involved an associate who had graduated from my school 3 years before. It was pretty easy going and involved general questions concerning my resume and about the markets. At no point did I feel like I was being "attacked" or barraged with questions. It was pretty easy going and involved mostly me talking about either my experiences or the markets. I also surprisingly did not receive any math or brain teaser questions

I was then invited to their sophomore S&T superday. About a week before, an analyst had contacted me to assist me with the interviews. He honestly wasn't that helpful and didn't really help me more than anything I could've found online. The superday involved three 2-on-1 interviews. These were also pretty easy going and basically went exactly how my first round interview went.

After our interviews we were given a tour of their headquarters and given the opportunity to speak to a handful of analysts. People always slam Goldman for their culture, but the people seemed very nice and relaxed. They don't seem to have the kind of boys club/team atmosphere that Morgan Stanley has, but they still seemed pretty chill and you can tell that they really are the best of the best.
