It was Asia recruiting for US students. It consists of three rounds of interviews. The first round was two interviews with two analysts/associates; the second round was two or three interviews with VPs/EDs. And the final round interview is what's called 'superday' interview, and I had three one-on-one interviews. The two were from HK (Asia Headquarter), and one was from Seoul. Two were EDs and one was MD. The first round and the second round interviews were in the second/third week of January, and the superday was the last week of January. The process is very intense in a sense that they filter out the candidates in each round. And the HR's communication to the candidates took a very long time.
The interviewers were overall nice, and they looked like they were interested to hear about my story. Not only based on the interviews, but also based on my internship experience, I think GS employees are super proud of their smartness. Their culture and brand is about "we are the brightest and smartest". So advice to candidates would be always explain the logic on your answer, and plan before what you say. It's ok to ask them to give you some time to think; it's better than saying something less smarty to give them answer right away.
