Please describe the interview / hiring process.

I interviewed with a VP within GSAM. The guy was really nice and all but he didn't seem to even try to gauge my interest/skill set for the position or who I was as a person. Honestly, he tried to have a simple conversation with me, which went really well except for the "no offer" part. Pointless interview.
