Investment Banking Summer Analyst

I was a summer analyst at Goldman Sachs within a different division my sophomore summer. I was placed within the internal mobility process at the end of the summer. I was informed of my interview in late September and was flown out to New York in mid-October. It was three 30 minute back-to-back interviews. Each interview had two interviewers, ranging from associates to vice presidents. The questions focused on why I wished to switch to the investment banking division, what my responsibilities were in my previous role and a variety of theoretical questions. Overall the process was extremely brief. I received a phone call exactly one week later from the recruiter informing me of two offers (IBD and previous division's return offer).
