Interview Details

What did the interview consist of?
1 on 1 Interview
Please describe the interview / hiring process.
Interview focused on two parts. Why I felt like I was qualified for IBD and why I was a fit for Goldman. First part of interview was based on myself and my experiences (fit type of questions). Then towards the end there were a few technical questions. Also asked what group at GS I'd see myself in. From my experience, GS focuses strongly on fit. The kids there were from top Ivy League schools and other good schools. And surely they are capable of answering all of the technical questions. Most of my interview was about fit because that is the best way to differentiate between the students interviewing.
