CRMA analyst

I gained an interview by talking to a recruiter at a staffing agency about my interest in GS. He sent me a list of openings they were looking to fill and I applied to two, Finance and Operations.
Other than campus recruiting, this is a very common route to getting a position in the Salt Lake office. About half of the entry level roles are filled this way. Mostly because it protects GS. If you are hired it is only for a contracted period of time. Inside GS they are called contingent employees or positions that last a year. After a year they can hire you on or not renew your contract. Contingent roles are hourly rates with no benefits or bonus.
The interview was scheduled for the next week but had to be rescheduled due to super storm Sandy. The interviews consisted of two, 30-minute interviews with two people each time. The first two were analysts, in the role 1-3 years the second two were more senior with 3-5+ years experience.
Within finance there are industry groups, so depending on which group is hiring the questions will relate to that industry. My industry group was Hedge Funds.
