Analyst

I applied online in February and ended up getting a email indicating interest with the position. The process started out with a general phone screen with HR - basic questions about past internships/course work, etc.

Once you pass that, I was invited to a 1st round interview in the New York office. I met with 3 analysts on the team, one of which gave me an excel test on the spot. Asked me to demonstrate macros/vlookups/pivot tables on his computer. Was able to do well with the test and the meetings with other analysts, and was invited to a 2nd (and final) rounds.

The last round I met with HR in person again, which gave me a couple essay questions/case studies to write about for a couple individual companies. After that, I met with two MDs and the global head of the department. Ended up impressing the right people, and got an offer a couple days later. We talked about the markets, but there really wasn't anything overly technical.
