Applied through OCR and HR called me a couple weeks later for an interest check on the position. I scheduled a phone interview. The phone interview was all behavioral questions about why E&Y, why consulting. etc. The interviewer was a manager. After that, there was an online essay with a 45 minute time limit regarding the importance of relationships.

After the preliminary interviews, I was invited to the office for 3 1:1 interviews with 3 other managers. Two were behavioral interviews and the last was a case study. It was less about why consulting and why E&Y and more about teamwork, leadership, and previous work I'd done. One interviewer enjoyed talking about my interests and hobbies. There was a lunch afterwards with many E&Y people, but they were not the interviewers. They said the lunch would have no bearing on our offer, but I am skeptical since it was a fairly long lunch and it would've been a great time to gauge the candidates' people skills.

I got a very quick response regarding an offer from a partner in the practice.
