Investment Banking Associate

Given that my MBA program is not a "Target" for DB, I did some informational interviews with alums first. After meeting 4-5 of them, I was told to apply and let them know. After I applied, they flagged my resume to HR and I was offered an initial phone screen. Apparently I passed as I was invited for a semi-superday type event. There, I met with 4 people at varying levels (no less than VP). Once the day was done, they called me the following day and told me that I did not make the cut. The interview was great as it was pretty technical and friendly. It definitely helped me prepare for my other ones.
