Audit Intern

My experience with Deloitte during the hiring process was relatively simple. I am at a college in the Philly area and all of the Big Four and a bunch of middle market firms recruit at my school. I was able to apply online through my career services website although Deloitte does have a relatively lengthy application process through their own website. They also do a background check on you after you are accepted for the interview which I didn't experience at any of the other firms that I interviewed with. This interview was different from the rest because it included two 30 minute interviews with two separate audit partners. These interviews go just like a easy conversation much like the rest of the interviews I participated in. The people who greeted and interviewed me gave a much more professional vibe than the rest of the Big Four. Even the recruiter, whom I had just met right before the interview, was friendly but held more of an elitist stern attitude than PWC, E&Y, or KPMG. Which I personally enjoyed. Overall, the interview is simple and straight to the point. The partners are personable and easy to talk to as well.
