Interviewed for LA generalist office (ex DLJ). Got the interview by dropping my resume at one of the LA target schools' banking info days.
Had an initial phone interview with the associate running recruiting. I was then invited to "prerecruiting superday" and met ~5-6 of the bankers in december. Afterwards was brought back in for an official superday in mid January. Was a very unorthodox way of going through recruiting, though this might have been because I was from a non-target school.
