Investment Banking Summer Analyst

Was contacted by Director of HR at Cowen regarding open intern positions that were created as a result of the recent acquisition of Dahlman Group. Initial round of interviews consisted of 2 1-on-1 interviews with Cowen's D of HR and an analyst. Very casual and laid back interviews. Mostly behavior and background questions and 1 technical question. 2nd and final round consisted of 6 1-on-1 interviews with Dahlman Rose employees. 2 Directors, 3 Associates, and 1 analyst. Interviews went great for the most part. One of the Directors seemed angry and not interested in being there. Told me a perfect answer to "Why IB?" was to say that you were in it for the money which I found to be strange. Interviews were mostly behavior and fit, few technical questions thrown in here and there but nothing difficult. All the associates and analysts were down to earth and it was a pleasure interviewing with them. I didn't receive an offer because I have already graduated and the 2 Directors at Dahlman were looking for undergrad students but it was still a pleasant experience interviewing with them.
