I submitted a résumé and cover letter via my school porter in response to the job posting put up by the bank.

My first interview was with an associate who focused mostly on fit questions. After speaking with him for half an hour or so, he invited a more senior guy into the room. The second part of the interview lasted close to an hour with the elder man asking questions ranging from fit to technical types. He was very interested in my past internship experience and asked me to describe the research process (my last internship involved a lot of market research). He was a little stern on the whole and grilled me on almost all my replies. I was surprised when I actually got the offer. The key is to stay calm and answer the questions to the best of your ability. Also, know your resume well and be able to describe everything about your past job experience, even the detailed technicalities of what you did.
