You will be asked to fill out an online application to get you registered into the system. I think because I was referred by a current employee, I did not have to do the phone interview (although I know other candidates have had to do that). I was emailed about a month after I was asked to fill out the online information to schedule an in-person interview. Citi flies you (or train, if you're close) into NYC. The whole process took no longer than 2 hours. There were 3 interviews. 2 Behavioral, 1 technical interview. All three interviews were 30 minutes long. When I walked into the building HR was extremely welcoming. They split you up into smaller groups of people that you will be rotating with. The interviewers were an Associate, a Director, and a Managing Director. No one was extremely intimidating, but they did do a good job asking questions with more follow-ups. Be sure to practice your technicals.
