Background Check
Please describe the interview / hiring process.
I submitted an application through my school. The first interview was a phone interview, with very basic interview questions. Overall, it was an easy interview with nothing I did not expect. It was also quite short, maybe about 15-20 minutes. They offered me a second interview, this time it was in person. They had already did a background and reference check by this time and had called all of my references. This time they asked harder questions, with more situations. They seemed unimpressed when I admitted I wasn't very familiar with Access and I think that was the dealbreaker. The interview ended quickly after that and I received no offer.
