ISDA negotiator

Contacted by recruiter, met for an informal interview. Following the initial meet and great, had a phone interview with a couple people in the group I was interview for at Bridgewater. Went well enough that they had me take Myers Briggs and another personality test then come in for a couple rounds.

For starters, the Bridgewater interview is a different type of creature…which works if you’re the right person, I suppose. I do respect and appreciated the philosophy. Unfortunately, I didn’t really gel with one of the senior members in the group I was interview with…which seemed to have been the deciding factor. Fair or not, I think his impression of me was widely influenced by the exams I took before coming in – the manner in which he conducted the interview made it pretty clear. Oh well, the reverse commute wouldn’t have been fun anyways. Nice campus though.
