It is very much dependent upon your connections within the organization. I had known several people within the firm for about a year, and when it came time for me to start learning more their support came through big time. From the time I talked with a recruiter for the first time, the turn around was something like 8-10 days. The interview itself was very relaxed, and it was not nearly as difficult as I had been expecting. Be able to walk through your resume comfortably and carefully gauge the personality of your interviewer. Some interviews, as always, will work better when you're more relaxed (or more uptight, depending on the situation).
