1 on 1 Interview
Please describe the interview / hiring process.
The first round was conducted on campus. A MD did all the interviews, and the interviews vary based on your background: if you are CS major, it could be very technical; if you are business, it's very behavioral. I had a very unusual behavioral interview, which focused a lot on "failure" questions.
Got noticed that I made to super day in a week, and the super day consists of 4 back-to-back interview which last 30mins each. Mostly behavioral and current market/basic finance knowledge, and they basically want to see if you know finance and if you will be a good person working at BlackRock. Got the offer two days later over the phone.
