Please describe the interview / hiring process.

I got the 1st round interview through OCR, which was mostly behavioral questions and I was invited for a final round on-site interview. The on-site interview consisted of a panel interview with 2 VPs and 1 associate (behavioral and technical questions on the market and ETFs), long lunch break and a group activity and presentation in front of 2 MDs of the group. The group activity was to build a society with a given group of people with different occupations. You need to work with other ppl and select the ones that are most important. The final step is to present it to the MDs (the HR person is also there). Overall I had a neutral to positive experience there. The process took a little longer than I expected but it was acceptable given Blackrock's size.
