Please describe the interview / hiring process.
I was initially contacted by HR about a month after submitting online resume. After we had a brief (25 minute) phone conversation consisting of general background, interest in position and knowledge of firm discussion had two group interviews (4-5 people at each). The first interviews were lower level team members (Associates, VP, Directors: 3-6 years with group). The next was with more senior level (10+ years) with the group. Both were rather informal with a few challenge questions. Lots of fit and interest questions. My background was a dead-ringer for the group (at competitor currently) so not much of an issue in terms of knowledge base. Would definitely know the challenges and marketplace of the group you are interviewing for.
