Summer Associate Investment Banking

Presentation on campus followed by a networking event attended mostly by the school's alumni working at the bank. Straightforward online application with short essay questions on why investment banking and why BarCap, what skills you could bring to the job and to discuss recent developments in the industry. Shortlisted candidates then had another chance to network before interviews. First round interviews were on campus, lasted for about half an hour and were with a VP and a Director from the group. I was asked only behavioral questions, nothing technical at all. The atmosphere was quite friendly and relaxed.
