Investment Banking Summer Analyst

I had applied online for an Investment Banking Summer Analyst position with Barclays in London. After I had submitted the application, which consisted of 3 standard motivational questions, I had to complete 2 online tests (both verbal and numerical).
A month after both tests had been completed, I received an email confirming I had a telephone interview with Human Resources. Their interview was strengths-based in terms of questions. There were about 10 or so questions like this.
About 10 days later I got another email confirming my place in their assessment centre. This consisted of a group exercise based on some materials and scenario laid out where I was asked along with fellow candidates to try to pitch the idea for a follow-on equity issuance to several senior bankers. The main point of the exercise is to see that you can work well in a team. So, you HAVE to be pragmatic and not look to dominate.
Thereafter, I met with 3 bankers in 3 40 minute 1-on-1 interviews, spaced out over the day (i.e. not back-to-back), where they quizzed me on my motivation and things from my CV. All of the bankers I met with were extremely convivial and amicable.
