What did the interview consist of?
1 on 1 Interview
Please describe the interview / hiring process.
Did one 30 minute first-round interview with an associate. Seemed like a nice guy but it was really hard for me to read him, couldn't tell if he liked what I was saying at all. Interview was standard first-round stuff, half fit and half technicals, nothing too crazy. At the end there was one really weird brainteaser but other than that no surprises.
Got invited for a second round a few days later. This consisted of two 30 min interviews, one with an MD and one with an SVP. Pretty much all fit, although the MD was an capital markets guy so he asked about current events a little bit. Still, nothing too crazy, both were really nice guys and the interview went well.
Got a call that night offering me the job, but ultimately decided to accept a position elsewhere.
