What did the interview consist of?

Please describe the interview / hiring process.
I had a contact within the company who submitted my resume to HR in November. I was contacted by HR in mid November to apply online for the position.
In early December I was informed that I was selected for a 1st round phone interview that took place right after Christmas.1st round phone screen was pretty easy just basic questions about the markets, why S&T and background information about myself. The phone interview felt more like a conversation than an actual interview.
After about a month wait I was notified that I made it to the Super Day in NYC in mid February. Superday was four interviews of which two were 2-1. All interviews were done by VP's, Directors, and MD's. About a 60-40 split between technicals and fit. I was extended an offer that same night to join the firm during the summer for the analyst program.
