Investment Banking Analyst

Applied online via OCR. Heard back the next day to have a phone interview with several people there (2 associates, and a VP I believe). About 4-5 days later I was invited to the final round, which took place the following week. Consisted of six 20-30 min 1 on 1 interviews at their HQ in Charlotte, with 2 associates, 2 VPs, a director and an MD. There were 8 candidates there if I recall, all of whom were from good schools in the southeast. They were hiring 1 person. Mostly behavioral, walk me through your resume, etc. One guy asked a lot of technical questions, and the MD seemed bored out of his mind during my interview. Mostly nice people, some nerdier than others, all of them seemed very tired and they sort of rushed through the process (probably so they could get back to real work). Though there were six interviews, they were not nearly as thorough as my final rounds at other IBs have been, which seemed odd to me given the great reputation of the group.
