I got selected for an interview through on-campus recruiting. All Bain employees I interacted with prior to my interview were extremely nice and eager to help. This made me want to work there even more and greatly intensified my hurt when I wasn't invited for a second round. Anyway, the first round consisted of two 45 minutes case interviews. First case was a PE case, second was a new market entry case. I thought I did alright in both, but apparently I wasn't good enough. Even while delivering the bad news that I didn't make the cut for the second round, they were still very gracious. Overall, my perception of the company is still very favorable, and God-willing, I'll try again in a few months.
