Please describe the interview / hiring process.
The hiring process involved tow rounds of interviews. The first round of interviews consisted of two back to back case studies with 2 associates. Bain was well organized and gave me some information about the two interviewers when I arrived. The two interviews had the exact same format: about 5-10 minutes on behavioral questions, then 15-20 minutes case, and 5 minutes for questions to them. The cases were quite open and required me to choose my numbers and explain why I was choosing them, rather then having lots of data to work with. They invited me back for the decision round. The format was the same with some more senior consultants. The first interviewer jumped right into the case since he was running behind schedule, second interview followed same format as first round. The cases weren't any more difficult, but I blundered up some math in the first case (ding).
