Study Abroad Runs Into Internship?

Hey guys, hope all is well. I received an SA 2022 offer from a BB and was just wondering... I'm due to study abroad this spring in Europe at a school that will end in early-mid June (around June 10th). Since my internship is supposed to run from June-August, will I run into any issues? If it happens to overlap a bit, will the bank be okay with this? Have been dreaming about this study abroad program for years and wouldn't want to mess it up because of the SA.

Find out the planned start date for the internship. That should be your priority. There may not be a conflict. If there is, see if there is a way to complete the study abroad session early (take early exam, do projects, etc.) They may work with you.

The large internship programs are quite structured with certain training session up front. You don't want to miss that. You also don't want to miss any of the social aspects (welcome dinners, happy hours, etc) with the internship as those are actually quite important to build social / fit / political capital. If they don't "know" you, hard for them to go to bat for you.

Great advice, thanks a lot man. When do internships at BBs usually start? My offer letter just said "June." Is it usually mid June? If it is I can probably manage that.
