Scotia Capital in Latin America

Hey,

I recently got an interview with Scotia Capital for a position in Toronto. Since my background is Latin American, I speak fluent spanish and I spent some time working in different Latin American countries (as intern for a large canadian multinational). Since I know that Scotiabank is very big in Latin America I tailored my cover letter to talk about their great presence in Latin America and matched it to my expirience.

I've been checking out the League Tables for Latin America and Scotia Capital seems to have dissapeared from them as of 2006. Does anyone know why? Are they still strong players in that market? And does anyone know any big deals they have worked in lately?

Thanks in advance for your help!
