Booz Allen Hamilton vs. BB PWM

Hey everyone,

I'm a junior, and I'm currently in the recruiting process for Booz Allen Hamilton and two BB PWM internships.

Assuming I get offers from all three, which would you go with? What are the exit opportunities like for IB and Management Consulting? Do you think I could leverage a BAH internship into a position at Booze & Co or a position at MBB? Which would look better on a resume, BAH or BB PWM?

The consensus seems to be that PWM internships are worthless, so do you think BAH would offer a better experience, even if it does focus primarily on military consulting?

Any information you could offer would be great. Thanks

BAH into Booze and co? Are you stupid? The answer is NO and anyone who tells you different is sh*tting on your face.

BAH is the govt consulting arm of the formerly Booz & co. Booz & co is the "strat" consulting firm that prestige wise falls under MBB. BAH does not exit to Booz. They are 2 separate companies with no affiliation with each other than that both have the word "booz" in their names. No one at Kellogg would even think of putting those 2 on the same plane since they are very different firms. BAH id associate with PwC consulting, Deloitte, etc. Booze and co yes has some prestige and falls within the MBB category.

Go with BB PWM or if you really want MBB goto a smaller strstegic consulting firm (LEK, OWC, SDG), there are tons of strat shops. BAH is not a resume wower and the work you'd be doing would be not strategic in scope, and furthermore you only get exposure to govt clients - crap.

Would you mind elaborating, tangerine or solidarity?

Your opinions seem to be opposite of what socola is saying, and I'd love to hear your perspective.

I appreciate everyone's feedback (yes, even from the guy that called me stupid). As you can see, I'm very new to the prospect of management consulting, and I'm just trying to get up to speed on the industry. Thank you guys.
