IBD -> PE -> MBA -> Tech Corp Dev -> VC ? Thoughts?

Title sums it up. Would a career progression that looks like IBD (2 yrs) -> PE (3 yrs) -> MBA (2 yrs) -> Tech Corp Dev (3 yrs) -> VC (till retirement/yacht). Assuming credentials match. Its like I wanna go to PE and tech VC... Private techuity as somebody else said here

Sorry for being vague. 2nd year trying to figure out which career path I should go into. Currently seeing four paths that have been interesting to me and this is one of em. Ultimately, I want to be in VC for the rest of my career, but with the hardships & how easily funds close I would like to have a career that builds a foundation in skills that I can use anywhere. Hence the IBD -> PE -> MBA -> Corp Dev before VC.

Also interested to the same degree in HF, but it has the same job secureness as a VC more or less which leads me to PE and consulting (safer options)

Nope, but whats wrong with planning? You can only be interested and go towards so many careers/industry that you could plan multiple career progressions. I'm still a 2nd year in college, so looking through the branches of my potential careers would be useful for me since Ill be able to plan out which internships and activities would best fit me into maximizing my chances into going to one of the planned branches. It'll help me have a well structured profile.
