Which non Canadian business schools do you think are percieved highly in CANADA?

Please share if this is your POV only or those shared by your friends/network. I understand MBA graduates in GENERAL of Canadian unis - Rotman, Ivey, Schulich, etc - don't really capture that WOW factor like graduates in the US do of their best universities (M7 or arguably top 10).
Wanted to hear perspectives on which foreign business schools in Canada stand out in terms of WOW factor? In other words, if I am a graduate of this business school and just did a cold reach out to someone in Canada, would I get a response or not. I'd also be interested in hearing how Oxford/Cambridge MBAs are regarded in Canada and whether Canadians are smart enough to know that these two schools (Oxbridge) in general attract lower-accomplished individuals

Region

Because I know 6 folks who either went to Ox or Bridge for MBAs and they all had shitty work experiences or low scores (undergrad GPAs).

Also, their b schools are relatively new compared to the established ones in the US

I understand that I am shitting on ppl who went to Oxbridge for MBAs here, but there is a CLEAR and BIG drop off between M7 / T10 in the US and Oxbridge

Fair, I guess it's just a product of the MBA not really being a thing in Europe as much as USA.

First off one thing you need to understand is that MBA associates aren't really a thing in Canada. Most MBA candidates start out as analysts in banking / PE unless they've previously worked in IB or used the MBA to move from another division within the same investment bank to an IB role (i.e., RBC S&T > MBA > RBC IB). What this translates to is any Canadian who is doing an MBA to get an associate role in IB/PE etc. will likely just go to the states instead of doing it in Canada.

In terms of foreign business schools that standout it's basically the usual suspects HBS/GSB/Wharton/LSE. To be honest any school with a good brand name will probably illicit a response from at least a few people and it doesn't really matter if the persons idiot or a "lower-accomplished individual" because they'll just get screened out on the call or during a first round interview.

Brother, respectfully, I did not take your response seriously, when I saw that you included LSE, which does NOT offer a MBA!! Or did you mean M7..

The M7 schools (Maybe +Haas) + LBS/INSEAD might get you a response via a cold reach out in Canada (or by reaching out to alumni). IMO, outside of these schools an MBA from Rotman or Ivey is a better investment if your long term goal is to live in Canada.

Cambridge and Oxford MBAs are not strong programs   - that is evident in employment stats and how many students they send to MBB/IB/Tech
