ESCP, City, University of London, WHU, St. Gallen

I'm currently facing a dilemma in choosing the university for my undergraduate that aligns best with my goal of working in London (IB). While ESCP seems to offer an exceptional student life, I'm hesitant about its potential impact on my chances to break into the industry. Any guidance on this decision would be greatly appreciated!

Out of all of them, St. Gallen is regarded as the most prestigious and "targeted" one. Moreover, it has the best placement in IB/MBB out of all schools in continental Europe. An HSG diploma is even more admired in Germany than in Switzerland, so why not focus on a role in the DACH countries? Nevertheless, a degree from HSG also makes the transfer to London fairly easy.

Thanks for the reply!

However, I still have to do the test and if I wouldn’t make the cut, would you go with ESCP or would you recommend another Uni?

Thanks in advance!

ESCP isn't bad. However, its graduates are placed in the same pool as ESSEC and HEC kids, who are prioritized in London recruitment. I'd suggest considering the RSM/ESE program offered by Erasmus. Since you mentioned WHU, I assume you have some knowledge of German. In this case, Mannheim is a great choice, as well as WU and WHU itself.
