Will an internship in a big automotive company help my resume stand out?
Hi everyone, I just got an offer for a summer internship at a big Italian/german automotive company (well known all around the world for their fast cars). They basically told me that I could choose any business division I would like to work in. I just finished my bachelor degree (Bocconi uni) and I am about to join LBS MiM in September. I would like to work in IB in the future, will this internship be a plus in my CV or recruiters will not care because it is not a finance-related position? if they care, which division should I choose and why? I have an internship in a PE fund and since I am about to join a master in management I did not want my resume to be "too consulting/business" oriented (I hope this makes some sense to you).
