Accounting - what analysis did you conduct? What insights were developed from analysis? How did the insights drive decision making in the company? What was the successive impact/result of the insights? Expand and elaborate to communicate the impact of your work. Otherwise on paper it just says you prepared the financial statement which isn’t much value e.g., no analytical work, just processing numbers.

Logistics - did you spearhead the expansion from 10m^2 to 100m^2? Saw you were the manager so if yes, how tho? Unclear how working with colleagues to optimize operations led to the expansion of warehouse. Sentence doesn’t explain and is ambiguous. Use “point of contact for clients, dealt with inquiries, processing (wtv task) leading to 96% satisfaction”. Could be wrong but imo that sounds like more responsibility than “responded to calls and emails” which is better for cv.

If I could ask, I’m facing something similar and was wondering what a good example of an accounting bullet point would be? You said mention how analysis impacted the company but most accounting interns just so busy work, e.g., data entry and filing. Thanks

you can use the framework i provided, think in a value-oriented mindset. what value did your work bring? for e.g., in my internship there was a mundane task, too, but i automated it with python and interviewers were impressed and asked me about it. if for your intern role you did data entry and filing and nothing else, there are three things you can do. 1 - embellishment and make it sound like impact, 2 - write exactly what you did onto the cv, 3 - going forward, with work experiences, be engaged with the work and take initiative so you discover opportunities to do something impactful, then bobs your uncle you'd have something good to write about. if you only did mundane tasks and did not seek to have impact in the work then that's what you did and it's difficult to make it sound impressive - going back to point #1. best of luck!
