Is it better to not include a bad internship?
Hi,
I'm a rising sophomore gearing up for SA recruiting next year. I currently have one 'proper' internship under my belt (VC, this summer), but I'm concerned that my resume is lacking (one other meaningless HS internship, no club involvement so far). During my freshman spring semester, I did manage to do a remote 'internship', working for a tiny (don't even have a website and their LinkedIn is a mess) consulting startup. My work for them was mostly research-oriented (industry reports etc), and I'm wondering whether or not to include them on my resume - if someone were to search them up, it would be very obvious that they're barely (if at all) legit. In interview/on resume, I can make my tasks sound somewhat interesting, but I'm not sure whether it would be better to just not include them at all.
Any advice appreciated!
