Background Check - Leave recent experience off resume?
I received an offer for an offcycle buyside role and used a resume where I omitted my most recent FT job prior to my current one. Its completely unrelated to my experiences, the role I am applying for and I only worked there for ~2 months before resigning to join my current firm. Wondering how this is viewed in a background check? Do I include that in the employment history the background check company asks for?
I think it’s fine to leave it off. To my understanding, the background check is to verify the places you say you’ve worked at as opposed to find out every place you’ve worked at
Got it. But doesnt the background check pull up every job you've worked at anyways? Wouldnt they see that and get me red flagged for omitting info?
